Everyone has morning breath - some people worse than others.

THe worst of it comes from going to bed with bits of food between and in your teeth and overnight bacteria grows and the food rots- gross but true.

THe best way to combat really nasty morning breath is to FLOSS and brush before bed and rinse with some mouthwash- the biggest thing you want to mkae sure not to neglect is FLOSS!!

Get all of the bits of food from between and in oyur teeth before bed-

you may still have a little morning breath but a rinse with mouthwash and brushing in the morning will take quick care of itMy breath always smells bad when I wake up, and sometimes after that .. I brush my teeth, but it doesn't help.
I use a tongue scraper. It helps me a lot.
try mouthwash
bad breath can come from you gums rotting or also from your stomach. If you have blockage in your intestines or waste from constipation the odor will come up thru your stomach and into your breath...another way to confirm it is from your stomach is that when you sweat...you sweat the smell of things you eat like coffee and onions the scent come thru your pores.
There are a few things it could be. Try scraping the tongue, there is a special tool for it. Could be a tonsil problem, sometimes there is something called tonsil stones, that are so stinky....soooo sooo sooo stinky actually. You can google tonsil stones, and read about them. Or, it could be built up plaque, that you are not able to get rid of by brushing. You may need to get your teeth cleaned professionally. I hope this helps a little. Its hard for your self image when you have this problem.
Use Listerine.
Here is some free information that I found for you on line: Good Luck!

Possible Symptoms of Bad Breath / Halitosis

The main symptom of bad breath is an odor that usually comes from the far back region of the tongue and grows stronger when the person talks. Hunger, morning breath and poor oral hygiene also play a part in bad breath.

There are a variety of herbal mixtures for bad breath to help eliminate the problem.

* Brushing your gums and tongue with powdered cloves is another herbal mixture for bad breath.

If your bad breath problem is due to tonsillitis, sinusitis or a nasty cold, edible camphor is a very effective throat stimulant. It''s a sublime substance that simply melts away clogged mucus, giving a clarity and freshness that extends much beyond your throat. It''s like vacuuming your own mouth with one of Nature''s most effective nasal decongester... ENT therapy on the cheap!
Some people have a little thinger that grows in the back of their throat...it looks like a large cottage cheese curd. those will make your breath smell bad because it is basically a buildup of little chunks of everything you have eaten for a few days
It's only morning breath. I have it too.
Do you brush your teeth at night before going to bed? This will definitely help a little. When you brush your teeth make sure to brush your tongue as well. You should have the gag reflex when you do this. This means you are brushing as far back as you should go. To help a little more, you can gargle with a strong mouth wash as well. Keep in mind that if you have sinus or allergy problems, you may have halitosis. This can be treated by taking antibiotics to dry up all the mucus and bacteria you may have. Know that it is normal for this to happen in the morning or whenever you haven't eaten for a long time. I would suggest having gum or candy availabe just in case-sugar free is best. Last, make sure you visit your dentist regularly.
Brush your tongue too. Use mouth wash. Be sure to floss!
To a degree its morning breathe, but it should go away after brushing your teeth. Either you aren't using proper toothpaste or you need some mouthwash and floss to get rid of plaque.
Put a few drops of tea tree oil on your toothbrush top it with toothpaste, and then brush your teeth. Tea tree oil can also cure gum disease, which is possibly the cause of your bad breath. More useful remedies at
