What's the best makeup brush?

I use Bare Minerals makeup and I love it! I bought the starter kit which comes with three brushes. They work great, but should I be using an expensive $50-70 brush? Will a more expensive brush make my face look a lot better. Makeup artists always say It's all in the application! Thanks in advance. What's the best makeup brush?
I love the Bare Minerals brushes! I haven't found a blush brush that I've liked better that wasn't a super expensive MAC brush. I bought some of the ELF Studio brushes and I love them (plus they are only 3 bucks!)What's the best makeup brush?
I really think it is all in the application. Just make sure your brush for the face is super soft and dense. Apply with minimal product on the brush, in small circular motions on the face going downwards.

To tell you the truth about makeup brushes, some less expensive brushes work better than the expensive ones....this I can tell you from experience. However, if you really want to get a GREAT brush just for the heck of it, I LOVE Bobbi Brown's kabuki brush...it is both super dense and super soft.
they have brushes that like be cheap at da like drugstore they be workin ok like you could like try they i be usin a powder brush and it be workin good two

  • Mineral Makeup - what brush is best Kabuki? Flat Top-Buffer? or Stipple Brush?

I new to mineral makeup and my set comes with a average synthetic Kabuki, want to invest in a really good brush as i know that its important.

I just want to know what each brushes benefits are and the kind of finish each one will give me.

I want my makeup to last all day, so medium coverage is what I'm after.

Also any other tips or tricks regarding mineral makeup and how to make it look fab and last long would be much appreciated

:-)Mineral Makeup - what brush is best Kabuki? Flat Top-Buffer? or Stipple Brush?
for medium coverage i recommend a kabuki brush. a flat top buffer will give you the most coverage because it is thicker and the stipple brush will give you the least. if you do get the kabuki, make sure you get one with the right amount of bristles/thickness. i got a kabuki from cargo in this set http://www.makeup.com/brands/cargo/bronz鈥?/a> and altho its great for bronzer...its not at all good for my foundation. i use the 181 from MAC http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/templates/鈥?/a> i bought this particular one because it was cheaper than buying the regular sized one but it works great! its the perfect thickness for my foundation and i get medium coverage. i use the 180 from MAC http://www.makemeheal.com/images/product鈥?/a> when i want more coverage. that particular brush is not sold by MAC anymore but im sure you can get one from a different brand. my 180 (the flat top buffer) is really great for giving you perfect EVEN coverage without making your face look cakey.

stipple brushes are amazing for all kinds of face products. it will give you decent coverage and you can use it for blush and highlighters but i find the 181 easier to work with.

the best tip i can give you is to clean your brush fairly regularly (not vigourously though) because ive heard alot of girls who've started to break out after using bare minerals or that kind of mineral makeup for a few months. and make sure your mineral makeup does not contain bismuth because it is a skin irritant and will make your skin look really disgusting after a while. as with any foundation start in the middle of your face and work your way out. ensure that youre blending out your makeup well so your face and neck aren't different colors. and to make your makeup last longer...stick with a good skin care routine (wash tone and moisturize) then try a foundation primer (the makeup sticks to the primer not your skin making it last longer). make sure you set with a loose powder or even try fix+ from MAC. i swear by it, one spray to finish your makeup.

good luckMineral Makeup - what brush is best Kabuki? Flat Top-Buffer? or Stipple Brush?
If you are looking for medium coverage, you might want to stay with a flat brush or a regular mineral makeup application brush. The kabuki brush only gives minimal coverage. The other brushes really work the makeup onto your skin as they are not as soft. I use a kabuki for finishing veil as I am looking for a light dusting coverage over my makeup.

Do you bleed when you brush your teeth?

yeah!Do you bleed when you brush your teeth?
yes sometimes if u use a hard brushDo you bleed when you brush your teeth?
sometimes.. u have to eat the right food to make your gums stronger.
sounds like ginsivitice. get some gargle
Yes i do and i have being told that it is due to not brushing enough or the right way.
I used to. I got a soft bristle tooth brush and started flossing. If your gums bleed when you floss at first they will still bleed and may hurt some. But after a few days your gums will improve and stop bleeding. Also, use Listerine or a peroxide and water wash once a day.
No, and you shouldnt either. This means you arnt brushing well enough, or often enough. You should be using a soft brush too.
may be you are brushing too hard. You may also have gum disease
    Yes sometimes...
sometimes if gums are raw and if you use a hard bristle brush it could cause tears..
    I heard a man say once, ';yea, my gums have always bled when I brush them';! I said, ';If your arm bled every day would you be concerned?';

Your gums should not bleed when you brush them.

Get a professional cleaning by a liscenced dental hygienist at your Dentist office.

Buy a power tooth brush-I like oral B. It doesn't have to be expensive-get a battery one and change the batteries every 6 months (do the same time you go in for a professional cleaning) along with the brush head!

Use Listerine 2x a day, try flossing, go deep under gums, make like the letter C and go on each side of the tooth under gums. Do this and your gums will not bleed :-)

IF YOUR gums bleed profusely see your MD!

    Jeanmarie RDH
Sometimes, when I'm in a hurry. My gums bleed because of the bristles of the brush.
You may not be brushing properly or using too hard of a toothbrush. Buy a soft bristle brush and brush your teeth at a 45 degree angle along the gumline for at least 2 minutes. Do not use alot of pressure. Flossing will also help. If you don't particularly like the strong taste of mouthwash, mix it with 2/3 mouthwash to 1/3 water. Drink plenty of water and get regular checkups. Good luck!
The only time your gums should bleed is if you are flossing to aggressively and cut the gum, or use to hard of bristled tooth brush. Gums only bleed when they are sick, if they bleed daily seek your dentist and get a good cleaning.

How many times do you brush your teeth every day?

usually once a week on saturday niteHow many times do you brush your teeth every day?
twice but sometimes 3 timesHow many times do you brush your teeth every day?
    Three times.
    Three.
    Twice. morning and evening

and haven't had a cavity in 20 years!
    twice
You are supposed to brush it three times, but I only brush twice.
twice and occasionally three times. Its discusting that some people in the above answers say they only brush once a week. I'm 37 and NEVER had a cavity. =]
It depends on what I've eaten.

If i've eaten healthy that day (pasta salad ect.) and no sugary snacks then two, after breakfast, and before sleeping.

But when I eat sugary snacks I brush my teeth afterwards.

So for instance, one day I might brush my teeth twice, the next I'll brush them four times.

Also when you feel your teeth feel unsmooth you brush them.
    Three times.

Some times I use a dental floss.
once.. sometimes twice, sometimes none depending on the situation:]:]

    thats an honest answer.

I have a ? about my dog. Daizy, my dog will brush her nose in the carpet, like she is trying to dig.Any ideas

Her nose is itching and she may have allergies. If you see her licking or biting herself alot and if her fur gets a reddish tint in places where she licks, she may have allergies. I had a dog who did this and she scratched her eyes by plowing her face into the carpet. The vet should be able to recommend a shampoo. We were told to put a little vegetable oil in her food to help soften her coat.I have a ? about my dog. Daizy, my dog will brush her nose in the carpet, like she is trying to dig.Any ideas
She may have an itch or there is an odor in the carpet that she associates with something she likes or finds annoying. Just wants to get to it! Curiosity!!! Try dry baking soda on the area for 15-30 minutes and then vacumning it up....may neutralize some of the scent.I have a ? about my dog. Daizy, my dog will brush her nose in the carpet, like she is trying to dig.Any ideas
Could be a dead body under your floor? Neva know these days ;)
You could have termites (as ';they'; say that dogs can smell termites)... Or perhaps an animal or pet lived in the home before you and your pet can smell that in the carpet or under the carpet.
if shes rubbing it allot her nose iches an she might have alergies
Dogs rely very strongly on their sense of smell. She's probably just smelling around the house. Relax, it's probably normal.
Take her outside to play! My dog does this occassionally, but we take her outside and let her explore and she's fine. If it continues, see a vet. This is just my amateur opinion!
take her to the vet , there could be something in her nose, or even allergy

. Let it clear through a vet.

The Coyote (C. latrans, also known as the ';brush wolf'; or ';prairie wolf';) is common throughout North America. From British Columbia to Prince Edward Island, the brush wolf ranges all the way south to Panama. It is thought that coyotes were originally limited to the American southwest but have proved to be very adaptable and have spread east into more-populated and even urban areas. Coyotes are said to even be living in New York City. Pronounced ';KY-oat'; and ';ky-OAT-ee,'; the name ';coyote'; comes from a Nahuatl word, ';coyotl'; as it was called by the Aztecs. What creature is also known as a prairie wolf of brush wolf?

If you brush your teeth but don't brush your tongue, would your mouth still smell?

Yes.If you brush your teeth but don't brush your tongue, would your mouth still smell?
umm yeah...your teeth just contain plaque but your tongue carries all the germs from food and air....thats a lot of germs

hope this helpsIf you brush your teeth but don't brush your tongue, would your mouth still smell?
    uhh yes
Brushing your tongue definitely further helps to reduce odor in your mouth. It's even better to use a tongue scraper, which you can buy in any local drug store/pharmacy.
Yes. When you brush your teeth you're brushing away food, sugars, plaque, bacteria, etc. When you ignore your tongue, you're leaving the bacteria on there, allowing them to linger and smell. It's a good idea to brush your tongue everytime you brush your teeth.
Yes. The bacteria that produces the horrid smell ';bad breath'; live on the tongue.

  • Do I have to brush my teeth after eating raisins?

What do u thinkDo I have to brush my teeth after eating raisins?
    Most definitely.

And for sultanas, currents, dates and all those sugary foods.

Saliva can only do so much to protect you. And there is no guarantee that your saliva is potent enoughDo I have to brush my teeth after eating raisins?
sugary gooey foods are the worst.

but overbrushing your teeth isnt good either, so dont eat raisins 6 times a day and brush every time afterwards. or try some sugar free gum afterwards to neutralize the acid.
Yes. Definitely. It is also important to floss because raisins are very sticky and high in sugar. The sugar provides food for the bacteria in your mouth and the byproduct of that is acid... which causes decay. Weird how something good for your body can be so bad for your teeth. It is one of the worst.
Raisins are as bad as candy. Take that information and follow your usual standards.
    Good rule of thumb:

If at all possible, brush after every meal.
    Yes.
YES, RAISINS ARE PRONE TO CAUSE DECAY (CAVITIES).

    WHY?

THEY ARE HIGH IN SUGAR AND THEY ARE STICKY TO EAT.

    SO, BRUSHING..... YES!
I don't think so. Eventually of course, but generally NO. That's what saliva is for. Sorry to gross you out.

Why don't people brush and floss there teeth on a regular basis?

because they're lazy, or not enough time, or doesn't know why it's good for themWhy don't people brush and floss there teeth on a regular basis?
people are lazy, that's the bottom lineWhy don't people brush and floss there teeth on a regular basis?
They don' have good hygeine. There parents or guardians didnt instill it in them
Because they don't care about there oral hygiene and the people around them don't complain about there bad breath or cheesy teeth.
I try and Brush Daily. Flossing is annoying. It also takes too much time. People are too lazy to do it.
so they don't have to get false teeth, and they can be proud of there beautiful teeth.. i thought you asked why do they.. the people that don't are gross and i think they can't imagine what they would look like with no teeth so they don't think about taking care of them but when they rot and fall out i bet they wish they had of
    LAZINESS. Plain and simple.
    Because we are lazy!
Those people have bad breath and are known as having ';Summer Teeth';. :)))))

When you brush your teeth do you also brush your tongue as well?

Just wondering...When you brush your teeth do you also brush your tongue as well?
    Yes!

Brushing the tongue is an important part of oral hygeine. Brushing, flossing and even tongue 'brushing' are all a part of preventative measures we should take as part of the routine.

Colgate has introduced a newer tooth brush that actually has a ridged, rubber backed 'plate' used specifically for the cleansing of the tongue. It helps to get all the build up, coating and bacteria that is sometimes overlooked during oral hygeine routines. If left unaddressed...this 'coating' can promote the bacteria that lead to tooth decay and bad breath.

    So, yeah...

:)When you brush your teeth do you also brush your tongue as well?
    yup! doing it right now.
Always it has bacteria on it to.
    yes!and u should do that!
I normally don't unless I have been taking a lot of cough drops. I have acid reflux and cough drops amazingly enough seem to help the Post Nasal Drip that comes with it.

So anyway, that's the only time because I get the cough drop on my tongue.
heck yeah i brush my tongue
lf you don't want stinky breath you do.
Yes I do and it does help a lot with keeping bad breath at bay.
Yup, keeps the breath fresh and the bacteria down.
Either brush it or scrape it with a tongue scraper..........
no i would definitely throw up... i use scope...
Yes, I do. Especially because I like hard candies %26amp; they leave a color residue on my tongue, so I have to brush it off really good.
    yes
Yes, it is important to thoroughly brush your teeth and your tongue. Why? Because your mouth is the main entrance to your body and any if any harmful bacteria stays in there, it goes down your throat and can cause cancer, diabetes and more severe conditions.
I dont know about others but I do.
    yes!
    yes
sometimes in the morning if i have bad breath...it makes me gag tho...
Absolutely! Otherwise you get bad breath.
    Yep!

it helps to prevent tongue cancer.
Well, ive heard people do but not everyone. Ive never tried it but i always brush my teeth dont worry.

Make sure you drink lots of water to keep your mouth and toungue clean though.
I don't. I have tried to, but it makes me want to gag.
Yes. It will keep your breath fresh.
    Yes, always.

I also brush the roof of my mouth %26amp; inner mouth cheeks too.
i do, i also brush the sides of my mouth. i have no ideal if it helps or not.
    yes
    yes
Yes. It is main source of bad breath.
I do. I learned about it on a movie. I hadn't before that.

Is it bad to brush hair while wet?

Yes because your hair follicles are opened and hair falls out easier. Also hair is very sensitive and full of knots when wet, so you tend to yank through it which causes split ends. Use a wide toothed comb and use a brush once a day WHEN DRY to spread natural hair oils throughout your hair. (:Is it bad to brush hair while wet?
    no.

i brush my hair when its wet all the time.

its better for me cause i have straight hair and if i take a shower and then wait till my hair drys to brush it then it will be really notty. Is it bad to brush hair while wet?
Yes it is. Because you are destroying your follicles in your hair. When you wash them, your follicles of hair get weaker and when you brush them it pulls them out. Using a comb will work best.
    Well

most say that when your hair is wet, your hair is more fragle.

so this means that you should use a comb so your hair does not break.
I've heard it is bad. I use a comb while it's wet.
It's bad to use a brush. Use a wide-toothed comb on wet hair.
Use a comb not a brush. Brushes break your hair,
it better to use a comb that way it won't get tangled
not if you use a comb

Should i get a brush cleanser?

OR can you recommend me a cheaper brush cleanser?Should i get a brush cleanser?
A make-up remover works just as well as a brush cleanser. Baby shampoo works good too.Should i get a brush cleanser?
victorias secret has great makeup remover that can be used as a brush cleaner and its way cheaper than mac brand. but brush cleaners are a really good investment especially if your a makeup artist, if not its not worth the trouble. if youre just using it on yourself then just dip the tip of the brush in soapy water. hypo-allergenic soap of course.
Do you have high end brushes? Such as MAC? If so, I would recommend getting the brush cleanser. It is actually pretty cheap compared to most. If you have higher end brushes, you want to make sure you treat them right. I have the MAC brush cleanser and it is worth the money.

If not, you could also use shampoo. But make sure it is BABY shampoo, because that is gentle, and it won't ruin your brushes. Johnson's No More Tears Baby Shampoo is my favorite, and it smells good.

Just get your brush wet, squirt in some cleaner or baby shampoo, rub it around in your hands and wash it under the water again.

Hope I helped %26amp; Good Luck!

    xoxo,

    Erica
I have a friend that works at sephora and she told me that washing your brushes with a soap like dawn will work just as good as those expensive shampoos for brushes. i've used dawn dish washing soap on all my bare minerals brushes and they are still like new.
You should use this if you need to clean and dry your brushes in like 10 minutes. It's for spot cleaning. But you should wash your brush with shampoo ever week for deep cleaning to get rid of excess makeup left in the brush.
Use baby shampoo! Seriously it does double duty!

It both cleans your brushes, which you should do about once a month, and also works wonderfully as a eye make up remover! Try Johnsons no more tears baby shampoo! Its cheap and effective!

That's all there is to it!

try peanut butter...or mayonnaise...why does she have a brush stuck anyways? ....jut wondering..=)
    haaaaaaaaaaa!

i remember when i had this happen to me....

my grandma just took a comb and pulled out strands of my hair a little at a time....

just make sure you dont jerk the brush thats stuck in the hair, that could cause it to get worse

    *Good luck :)
Don't try to twist it out. This may sound weird...but just stick your friend's head under the bath faucet or the sink. Don't put any shampoo in it. Just tilt her head to one side and try to untangle it that way. If it's not that bad, try very carefully to unpick the hair.
You should wet it and then push her head forward while you try to get it out!
Put some hair detangler on it and if you don't have that put olive oil or baby oil. Then try to pick as much as you can of it out of the brush with your fingers. If you can't get anymore hair out with your fingers, try to pick it away with a comb. The LAST thing you want to do (if it is still stuck) is to get some scissors and try to cut it so it looks as good as possible. After, stick her hair where the brush was stuck under warm water and shampoo and condition. Then use a wide tooth comb to gently brush it out. I hope this helped.

Good luck! I hope you can get it out! :)
    lol

Get someone to help her and have them slowly pull out each knot to eventually get the brush out. Get it slick and greasy by putting olive oil or baby oil or something in it to help the hair out.

The last resort is cutting her hair.

Can using an Interdental brush, cause gaps between teeth?

I was wondering if using these interdental brushes (the ones with bristles on a wire) instead of flossing can cause gaps in between your teeth. Here is what they look like:

http://www.mysmileprotector.com/images/idb.jpgCan using an Interdental brush, cause gaps between teeth?
They shouldn't cause gaps between your teeth, but they shouldn't be used if there isn't enough space for them to fit easily between the teeth - like if there are already gaps there. If you have to force the brush through, then it is too tight and will damage the gum tissues - just floss instead. Those brushes are meant for people with larger spaces between their teeth and/or cleaning around braces.

I had blood coming out of my mouth when I brush and floss.?

Is it normal? Does anyone have the same problem? How did you deal with it?I had blood coming out of my mouth when I brush and floss.?
u need to floss everyday. it's normal when you don't floss. you may or may not have ginvitis.I had blood coming out of my mouth when I brush and floss.?
it means u dont brush enough and u need to brush your gums too.
I'll bet you floss about once a week. If you floss every day that won't happen. You have Gingivitis.
your cutting your gums, not bad. don't brush so hard and it shouldn't happen
I have experienced this as well and what I had to do inorder to fix it was never miss a brushing atleast twice a day. You need a betetr toothbrush. And flossing helped me alot. If you dont brush atleast twice a day it can make this happen.

but another thing to look out for is it can be Gum disease which can eventually become a pretty serious problem if brushing more frequently and changing toothbrushes and even the brand of toothpaste that you use -then you should consult with a dentist
you could of either brushed to hard... or you have signs of beginning gingivitis.... it happens when you floss and you dont floss regularly...your gums are much more sensitive, but if you are a regular two times a day flosser you might want to call your dentist....... always use listerine btw to help prevent any dental issues..
You are not flossing often enough. Next time you do there will not be such a mess. Or you have scurvy. Are you currently on an 18th cent Frigate or whaler?
U need to listerine and use sensitive toothpaste.
Sounds like gingivitis. I've had it before. If you continue to brush and floss regularly, chances are it will go away. Follow-up with your dentist just to make sure.
Is it a little blood or a lot of blood? If it is a lot of blood call your dentist.

Otherwise it means you have gingivitis which means inflammation of your gums. After 5 to 7 days of continued brushing (at least 2 times a day) AND flossing every night before bed, it will stop. You have to ';work out'; your gums by brushing and flossing to tighten the spaces around your teeth and make your gums healthy again.
No, it is not normal. It may be a sign of Gingivitis or Periodontal disease. You deal with it by going to see your dentist.
Flossing can sometimes cause bleeding of the gums when you floss too hard, but on the other hand you should have your teeth cleaned every year if not every six months.

Plague Carry's bacteria that gets down to the root of your teeth and gums and this can caused periodontist and gum disease.] and that leads to also bleeding of the gums.

Take care of your choppers guys, I still like to rip apart a Steak my way without having to gum it.\Peace out Al
if you brush and floss all the time and it just started you may be brushing/flossing too hard. if it happens all the time you have gum disease. but when you go to the dentist for a cleaning your gums almost always bleed a little.

i use 'colgate TOTAL' and it has an anti-bacterial agent that helps reduce or end gingivitis. try it and see if it helps. good luck!
your gums are sensitive, could be early indications

of gingivitis, use listerine, and keep flossing, it should stop
You have tender gums. Use a toothpaste for such and continue to brush, just go gently. See a dentist to make sure the problem isn't serious.
Is this all of the time, or just because you started recently???? If it is because of recent start up, it will go away as the gum will toughen up. You might want to see your dentist also...
You have a gum infection go to dentist he will give you a course of anti-biotics and it will clear up in 7 days
I would recommend going to your dentist. Keep flossing and brushing as you normally due, but make an appointment. You gums will bleed if there is tarter build up below the gum line (meaning you need your teeth cleaned) It can also be a sign of gingivitis or periodontal disease. I hope this helps.
    floss more...

    dont brush very hard.

Ask your dentist to do a periodontal review of your gums.
Their is a toothpaste commercial that talks about this and it's not good and you should go to the dentist, I'm sorry but I can't think what they call it
could be the starting of gum disease. i get this sometimes too. best get to your dentist and have it checked. also, dont brush too hard because your gums are sensitive!
Poor thing. You probably have gingivitis. It's not uncommon, but I would definitely go and see a dentist.

    Good luck! =)

Why is it bad to brush wet hair??

I do this every time I get out of the shower....Why is it bad to brush wet hair??
brushing wet hair causes tangles and pulls out more hair than normal and also cause breakage..Why is it bad to brush wet hair??
You hair is weak and brittle when it is wet. It is best to comb your hair starting from your roots and work your way down to your ends.
I once read somewhere, that brushing your hair when you get out of the shower, causes your hair to tangle and break off.

You should comb your hair not brush it.
Your hair is weaker when it's wet. It will break off easier.
It gives you split ends. Don't do it unless it's a brush that doesn't have boar or other animal bristles or fake animal bristles, just the ones that have plastic and are far apart like this one- http://goody.com/Html/FabTeens/Flash/Sty鈥?/a> (the paddle brush).
    it causes split ends
if you use a really wide tooth comb and brush hair moisturiser through when its wet its fine to do.

If it's with a small tooth comb it will rip your hair and cause damage.
No..NO....NO!!! Never brush or come your hair when it is wet because you hair is very fraigle when wet. If your hair is already damaged, brushing while wet will only make it worse.

How can i stop my bad smell from mouth even i brush my teeth twice?

Let's see... You're missing some things. Flossing, mouthwash (Listerine) and brushing your tongue as well as your gums. Doing this should eliminate that. but if for some odd reason you still have bad breath, it's more-than-likely coming from your stomach. Consult your dentist AND doctor. How can i stop my bad smell from mouth even i brush my teeth twice?
there are many causes of bad breath or Halitosis as it is called, they range from intra-oral to extraoral causes. so, if u have bad breath inspite of brushing well, the cause could be other than oral.so its necessary to rule out any systemic problems before concluding that its source is from the mouthHow can i stop my bad smell from mouth even i brush my teeth twice?
You need more than to brush your teeth. The smell is probably the back of your tongue where most bacteria is. Listerine, scope and the other popular mouthwashes probably wont work if brushing twice doesnt. Use Smartmouth, it wont just cover over the smell it will stop it. Twice a day as directed and you wont even wake up with morning breath.
*brush at least 2 times a day

*get a tongue scraper and use it once a day

*floss at least once a day (better if you do it twice though)

    *use mouthwash

i would also mention it to your dentist next time you go. he/she could have some more suggestions.

    hope this helps! :]
BAD BREATH OR HALITOSIS HAS VARIOUS REASONS FEW OF THEM ARE ....PERIODONTAL PROBLEMS(GUM PROBLEM), CARIES, SINUSITIS, ACIDITY PROBLEM, DIET, SMOKING, ETC

FIRST OF ALL YOU NEED TO GO TO A DENTIST AND GET YOURSELF CHECKED FOR ANY DENTAL PROBLEMS ONCE THE DENTAL PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN RULED OUT AND THE PROBLEM PERSIST THEN CONSULT A GENERAL PHYSICIAN WHO THEN WOULD EXAMINE YOU AND THEN TAKE CARE OF YOUR GASTRIC PROBLEMS AND SINUS PROBLEMS IF ANY....IF NUTTIN WORKS THEN .................... USE A MOUTH FRESHENER

Mouth to stomach is one tube.If your teeth are clean the cause may be gastric upset. But there are many causes of foul smell.Get your digestive system checked by specialist.
there may be some infection in tonsils or nose gums or persistent dryness due to high sugar level and sometimes gastric upset but most common is faulty brushing technique.

What do i do to cure mouth odor even though i brush my teeth regularly?

Your problem may be with your stomach. Do you get heartburn or sour stomach? Do you have diabetes? You may have acid reflux disease, or you might be burning fat and be acidotic. If brushing and flossing don't work, talk to your doctor. I don't recommend using mouthwash, as that can damage the inside of your mouth and cause further mouth odor. What do i do to cure mouth odor even though i brush my teeth regularly?
Persistent bad breath is a sign of periodontal disease. You should see your dentist as soon as possible for evaluation and any necessary treatment. What do i do to cure mouth odor even though i brush my teeth regularly?
You might have halatosis. Go see your dentist if this is a serious problem.

In the meantime, there are some things you can do.

You should floss every day as well as brush.

When you brush, brush your tongue.

You could also have acid reflux that is causing your stomach acids creep up into your mouth. Surgery can cure this problem.

Use a mouthwash before you brush.

Your diet could also contribute to this. If you eat a lot of processed foods, or fast food, this can cause a problem.

    Clean your diet up.

Drink water with every meal and swish it around in your mouth after you eat to clean your mouth immediately after you eat.

Eat your vegetables and salad after your main course. This will help clean your pallet.

    I hope this helps.
Brush your tongue. If the smell comes from further down eat parsley
And if what Chad suggested doesn't work, go to a denstist. You might have a bigger problem that needs taking care of.
try flossing, having your teeth cleaned by a dentist, brush your tongue, use mouth wash, stay away from onions and garlic and other odorous foods.
brush your tongue when you brush your teeth. this helps with the odor
Use breath mints, oral rinse. Get a check up to see if you have any GI issues.
theres 'extra' chewing gum the blue color version %26amp; 'cloromint' gum..these two are really good to keep your mouth order..have two tablets of extra after each meal and brush twice a day.
Eat less processed foods and brush your tounge.
You need to clean not only your teeth, but your tongue as well. Use mouthwash and always floss your teeth. Sometimes you can get bad breath from stomach acids. Chew a peppermint or a ginger snap cookie. Avoid odor causing foods, like onions %26amp; garlic. Smooking can also cause bad breath.
    go to http://www.embarrassingproblems.co.uk/br鈥?/a>
There are several options here: 1) a tongue scraper, to remove any bacteria or dirt on the tongue, 2) a good mouthwash to freshen the breath 3) flossing and 4) visit the dentist! Yes I know I mentioned the unmentionable but as not alot of people know this, most bad breath problems can originate from infection. You could have a gum infection whereby food is unwittingly trapped, the treatment is simply a teeth clean and a course of antibiotics, i would certainly recommend this course of action if you have any discomfort as this is the most likely cause. p.s. Prevention really is better than cure, better to go now and get a teeth clean than to go in 6months time for more evasive treatment.! Good luck
try the tongue cleaner which can be bought in your local drugstore or beauty shop... sometimes mouth odor can be a result of not cleaning your tongue... imagine the food that pass through your tongue...maybe your tongue should be clean with tongue cleaner...

    OR...

you can use the spoon if you dint have tongue cleaner... you could use the spoon to clean your tongue...try it... it just like you lick the spoon like licking a lollipop
You can mix a cap full of peroxide with 4 ounces of water and rinse as you would with mouth wash. The bubbling action of the peroxide gets deeper between teeth and gets rid of more bacteria and food. Also, brushing and cleaning your tongue will help.

Do you brush your dog's teeth? Are we supposed to do it everyday like the ads say? ?

I have an elderly dog, whose teeth I only brushed sporadically. They are now rotting, and I can't afford to have them professionally cleaned. It feels crappy to not be able to help your dog. So I'd say, brush the teeeth if the dog will let you,. It will make both of you feel beeter in the long run.Do you brush your dog's teeth? Are we supposed to do it everyday like the ads say? ?
Brushing a dog's teeth is actually bad for them. It wears away the enamel and other protective layers. If your dog is fed a good quality dry food and/or has bones and other hard material to eat, it's teeth will be fine. Bones and dry kibble wear away the tarter on a dog's teeth. They also sell special bones for them to chew on. Brushing is recommended once in a while, but only as needed. My shepherd is 18 months old, and I have NEVER needed to brush his teeth. He has no tarter or plaque build up, and his teeth are whiter then mine. I feed him very high quality food and treats, and he has plenty of bones to chew on. I don't give him canned or wet food, and I rarely give him soft treats.

Wild animals live perfectly healthy long lives without losing their teeth, yet dogs at 10 years old have rotting teeth that are falling out. Wonder why? The best thing for an animal is the more natural, the better.Do you brush your dog's teeth? Are we supposed to do it everyday like the ads say? ?
no you dont have to at all. sometimes its good for them depending on their diet. teachers like to use the example of eating peanut butter your whole life and never brushing. but if they eat dry dog food that helps clear tarter and buildup and stuff. if their teeth are bad enough they can get cleaned by a vet
I don't but I think I should start 'cause his breath is really getting smelly

There are some bones/treats that apparently clean your dog's teeth

but I'm not sure whether they work or not

But beats holding down a struggling dog and trying to brush his teeth
I brush my dog's teeth but, admittedly, sometimes I forget. I manage to get it done about 4-6 nights a week. My 5 year old dog's teeth have very little tartar build-up, and her breath doesnt stink.
Three times a week is sufficient, and yeah its best to brush to be honest. It does make a lot of difference to the dog when it starts to get older.
yes i brush my dogs teeth like once every two weeks. They actually make special toothbrushes and toothpaste for dogs. And no you do not have to do it everyday haha
I have a special doggie tooth brush and paste I use on my Shih Tzu once or twice a week. It's not completely necessary to brush their teeth every day or twice a day.
Not with Colgate its bad for them. My vet said 3 times a week. With special dog toothpaste.
S but they will get seperate brushes and tooth pastes....
I don't do it every other day or whatever. Like once a month :D Really well though. My dogs teeth are perfectly fine
special dog toothpaste every other day

NO, and I really hate brushing my teeth all together. It is like nails on a chalk board to me. It gives me such a bad feeling. So I brush them enough but not for 2 whole minutes. Its is just so boring.
Always without fail. Every single night, and each morning.
It depends but If I wer u just brush after eating always ( not 3x a day) but after eating any food.
    More or less, yes.

Unfortunately, however, I don't do it immediately after the meal, because I like the taste slowly fade away.

I read an article a couple of months ago that sceintists tested brushing teeth and 2 minutes are enough if you wash your teeth as strongly as the weight of an orange.
I didn't use to, but I do now!!!!

Where does the phrase 'as daft as a brush' come from?

    some 1 said it

I found an explanation which I think is a maybe---the Victorian chimney sweep!

It seems that children were first used as sweeps since the skilled child was small and could easily work his way vertically through the confined space, clearing blockages and removing the build up of soot by hand.

While in training the apprentice was sometimes dropped head first down the chimney which caused severe cerebral damage. Hence the phrase.

Either that, or just that the children only knew how to clean chimneys and so were quite daft in all other aspects of life... seeing as they were called ';sweeps'; or ';brushes'; therein the phrase is born!Where does the phrase 'as daft as a brush' come from?

I never brush my teeth And I have no cavity?

and i never went to the dentist.I never brush my teeth And I have no cavity?
Dude, kudos on not having cavities, that proves you have some damned strong enamel on your teeth, but what about bad breath? Brushing your teeth does far more than just prevent cavities, it also cleans your mouth and tongue. Think of all the bacteria you must be walking around with in your mouth. I will leave you with a famous quote by Homer Simpson:

Bart: Dad, do I have to brush my teeth tonight?

Homer: No, but at least rinse your mouth out with soda.I never brush my teeth And I have no cavity?
If you've never went to the dentist how do you know you don't have cavities? The only way that you can know for sure is to have x-rays taken...? .... and if you never brush your teeth i think you should be worried about Periodontal Disease instead of Cavities.
If you never went to the dentist...than how do you know that you have ';no cavities';?

And you never brush your teeth???? Believe me, you probably don't have to tell anybody that you never brush your teeth. They know when you breath their way!

    Hi =]

Personally I Think Th Best Thing To Use Is A Straightner But As Yu Cant Get Wun Ther Are Plenty Of Alternatives :)

You Could Use Straightening Gel/Serum/Mousse After You Come Out Of The Bath Or Shower Or Whatever Then Blowdry It With A Hairdryer..

If That Doesent Work... Go Retro And Use An Iron :D

As In One To Iron Your Clothes But Be Careful LOL

Hope I Helped.. xIf i brush my hair for a few hours will it straighten?
In the 1930's and 1940's women were encouraged to brush their hair for 100 strokes every night before they went to bed. Millions of women did this as if it were scientifically valid. It was a waste of time. Touching the outside of a shaft of hair has no effect on the behavior of that hair.

When you are old you will smile when you look back at this question. There is an inner peace that comes with age. You will discover that all your beauty comes from inside. You could just shave your hair and be the most beautiful woman in the world. Can you look in the mirror and say to the mirror ';only a rebel would wear her hair like this';? Maybe i am a bit of a rebel? And then you'll be amazed in 6 weeks when several other women start wearing their hair exactly like you.
i dont know how many times ive said this, nothing besides hair straighteners will striaghten your hair!!

shampoos and conditioners dont work they just flat your hair out, blow dryers and brushes will curl up your hair, brushing it a lot will make it staticy, and frizzy.

go out to walmart and get a straightener theres some for $10 and you can get a heat protective spray so your hair wont get damaged and its only like $5
If it is very curly, don't brush it out. Trust me, it will look like an afro. I'm guessing I would try to put it back with clips %26amp; make it pretty, it all depends how long it is. If it's that bad, have a hat day until you can find something out.
Try washing your hair and blow drying it with a brush. Absolutely DO NOT try a clothes iron. You could easily burn your hair off or burn your self. I would suggest buying a straightner. My works wonders!
A brush and a blow dryer. A brush only will do nothing but make if frizzy.
You should buy a hair straightener. Your hair will only get oily if you brush it hours on end.
If you comb it sometimes it just makes it puffy idk what u can do srry

Why would Bush waste his time in the brush? He's friends of the

Bin Laden family. Bush probably has Osama's telephone number, and home address.

    Good idea.

Clinton let the Al Qaeda pilots learn to fly in the US
Probably not because Bush is even a worse shot than Cheney.
We all know that James Bond %26amp; the incredible number of other so-called super-heroes DO NOT EXIST,NEVER DID %26amp; NEVER WILL so what else can we do.

But his good friend John McCain is on that one. Bush will leave the heavy lifting to his successor.

......and he could take hunters Mike Huckabee and Cheney with him, although they might shoot themselves in the foot.
    Great idea!
He will be like OJ looking for the ';real killer'; on the golf course.
