I have a 4month bichon but she wont let me brush her ??? she also has went off her dry food?

You will have to get her used to being brushed, combed, and groomed. Bichons need their coat taken care of, or you are going to end up with serious matting. If you can't groom her, then you are going to need to take her to the groomers quite often. You can have them bathe and brush her in between haircuts. You can feed her some treats while you brush her to help her associate grooming with something good. If she just wants to run away, you can tie the leash to something to help secure her. If she bites, you have to teach her not to. Better to start getting a puppy, especially one with a high maintenance coat, used to being groomed now rather than letting her grow into an adult who will fight even harder at being groomed.I have a 4month bichon but she wont let me brush her ??? she also has went off her dry food?
With grooming your dog - just buy a doggie table and put her on it and brush even if it's only a couple of minutes. If you do this regulary she will get used to it in the end. My dog used to growl at me when I groomed him but now he's fine with me grooming him.

Try adding some good quality wet food to your dogs dry food. Dry foods can be extremely boring for dogs. It would be a bit like eating cornflakes with no milk.

Hope this helps.I have a 4month bichon but she wont let me brush her ??? she also has went off her dry food?
Try mixing a little meat with her dry dood to get her back onto it. As for the brushing try to distract her with something while brushing her or get someone else to distract her while you brush her, a little at a time. She will eventually get used to it.
Won't let you? Who is in control? When a dog gets brushed and starts behaving badly, it is up to you to continue gently brushing until the dog stops. When they do, say ';Good dog'; in a happy voice, that reinforces good behavior. If you stop brushing every time they act up, you are sending the message that you will stop brushing if they are bad. They are training you.

If the vet says there is nothing wrong with your puppy, and the food is a good food, they will eventually eat.
Put her between your legs to hold her tight and when she fights you do not give in or show any reaction or she wins and she knows she is getting to you and this behavior will continue. She will get used to it if she knows no matter what she does or how she acts she is getting brushed, and when your done your done, not when she thinks your done. Then when you finish give her a special treat she normally doesn't get, this way she knows when she gets brushed there is a reward when she is finished. Brush fequently or she will get knotted and brushing tangles out will hurt her. She needs to know you are the head of your household and she needs to obey you, do not let her control you or things will get worse. As far as food she will eat dry if she is hungry. Mine eat Royal canin and love it! It is always there if they are hungry, some eat in the AM and some in the PM, some eat in the middle of the night, but dry food wont get old sitting out, wet food will and cause them to get sick if it's out too long. Plus dry food help get the tarter off there teeth, wet food causes a bad tarter build-up! Trust me if they are hungry they will eat!
I`m not sure about the 2nd question but my dog also does not like anybody to brush her..she would probaly run away and hide under the dining table (:o)
