Hot or Cold water to clean makeup brush??

Also, what is the best way to dry???

If it sits on a towel it can harbor bacteria, right????Hot or Cold water to clean makeup brush??
Warm water but warm enough to help move the makeup off the brushes .....And I lay mine on a towel but I lay the ends of the brush ( the brush part) to where they hang over the sink without falling this allows them to dry all around and not just on one side ....never stand them up to dry because the water can run down to the base of the brush and settle and you don't want that ...it could cause rust and eat away at your base that hold the brush together. The best is just to allow them to dry all around and laying them over a sink where they get air all around works best for me .....

Hope this is helpful to you ~~~Hot or Cold water to clean makeup brush??
warm water is the best way...not too cold not too hot. make sure its warm to the touch. test the water out before you wash your brushes.

another thing is: dont sit them in a towel.

its better to lay them over the side of the sink or the side of a table.. so that the brissles can dry correctly. put a towel under the handle of the brushes.

it works great for me !

:]
I clean my very expensive mac brushes in luke warm water with a little bit of dish soap or very mild soap or the brush cleaner that mac sells if you use to hot of water depending on the type of brush you have could melt the bristles just thought i would throw that in but with drying them dont put them on a towel shake them out and let them air dry try standing them up in a glass. Good luck!!
I do warm water, like bath water temp. And rinse rinse rinse rinse to get all the soap out.

Mine lay on the sink with the head of the brush over the edge so it doesn't cause the brush to go flat.
yes if it sits on a towel it can harbor bacteria.

I'd use cooler water.

If not you can get a cleaning solution, sephora offers them.
Doesn't matter what temperature it is. When your done rinsing them squeeze the tip with a paper towel.
I do cold-ish. Use paper towel.
