tight correct motions

corect jump form,high jumps

be happy and cheerfull coaches dont want to put up with some cranky girl

have fun but take it seriously so you get all the correct motions for the dance that they'll teach you

if you dont understand a move, ask so you can get it correct for final tryouts

smile!

and if they do stunting in tryouts which they might or might not, go along with what position they put you in and just try it because you may think that your going to be base but they tell you to try flying go with it and dont be nervous because if its your first time flying theyll usually put you with bases from last season who know what theyre doing and same with if you end up being a base or a front spot or a backspotLast minute brush-up tips for cheerleading tryouts?
We just had our cheerleading tryouts.:) So, I'm guessing that your trying out for 8th grade cheerleading... You should smile at all times, even when you mess up on something. I messed up on my dance, and I still made it, because I kept smiling :) Keep your motions sharp, so you don't look sloppy, and that your not just slinging your arms everywhere. Show spirit throught the whole time. When your doing your dance, you should make emotions with your face. LOL:) It's pretty fun, do a little wink, and some ';OMG'; faces, bubble faces, etc. Well...I guess that's it :)

GOOD LUCKK ;)
Be sure you stick any tumbling, that you make precise movements, and (if you need to talk/cheer), enunciate. then you should do pretty well.

STAY POSITIVE!!! =D
